For a number of years, Wick Specialties Ltd. has been a close Canadian partner of Sulzer Metco's thermal spray materials business, distributing the Sulzer Metco WOKA carbide materials, particularly in Western Canada.

Friedrich Herold, Head of Sulzer Metco's Materials Operating Unit states, “This acquisition will enable Sulzer Metco to increase the depth of its coating materials and service offering in Canada.
