Process Description
Features applied to gas turbine airfoils are airfoil film cooling holes, internal cooling holes, seals slots, tip cavities, root notches, tip closures and coatings. Sulzer Metco can also deliver engine ready parts as a ‘one-stop-shop’ supplier with responsibility for casting, conventional machining, non-conventional machining and coating.

    The range of products for blades and vanes are:
